Tournament Types

They are the ‘regular’ type of tournament, with 10 seat tables, 10 minute blind levels and 20 seconds decision time (act time). Starting chips for this type of tournaments are usually 1500 chips for the ones with a small buy-in and 2000 chips for the bigger ones.

Sixpak

Tournaments with 6 seat tables. They have 10 minute levels and 20 seconds decision time. Starting chips are usually 1500 but may go up to 2000 for the ones with a higher buy-in.

Thunder Tournaments

‘Thunder’ tournaments, are faster than the regular tourneys. Two types will be offered; with 10 seats (Thunder) and 6 seats (Thunder Sixpak). They have 6 minute blind levels and 12 seconds decision time (act time). Starting chips for these will be 1500 chips.

Storm/Thunderstorm Tournaments

This kind of tournament is even faster than the thunder type of tournaments. They have 3 minute blind levels and 12 seconds decision time (act time). Starting chips for this kind of tournaments are 1500. They are offered 8 times every day (over a 24 hour period/every 3 hours). Sixpaks and 10 seaters will be offered.

GTD

Guaranteed Tournaments are multi-table tournaments with a guaranteed prize pool. Their blind levels will vary from 12-15 minute levels, depending on buy in and the prize pool. Decision time will be 20 seconds. Starting chips will be 2000. This type will be mainly offered with 10 seat tables, with some 6 seaters being offered as well (Sixpak GTD).

Guaranteed Rebuy tournaments

GTD Rebuy: Guaranteed prize pool tournaments, 6/10 seat tables, blind levels vary from 12-15 minute levels, depending on the buy in and the prize pool. Decision time will be 20 seconds. Starting chips will be 2000. Unlimited Rebuys until the first break and a Single add-on will be available during that first break.

Freerolls

Freeroll tournaments are tournaments where you can register for free and play to win cash or a seat to another tournament. Freerolls with a cash pool prize will be offered every day at Real Deal Poker. Some are 10 seaters and some are Sixpaks.  A minimum of 6 NL Holdem Freerolls and one PL Omaha Freeroll will be offered on a daily basis. Some are Sixpaks and some may even be offered as Thunder Freerolls.

Satellites

Satellite tournaments, are qualifying tournaments that offer you the chance to win a seat to play a bigger tournament. There will be two types of satellite tournaments offered at Real Deal Poker, the regular Satellites and ThunderSats. Satellites will have 10 minute levels and 20 seconds decision time, while ThunderSats will have 6 minute levels and 12 seconds decision.

RDP Tournaments

These tournaments will have RDPs (Real Deal Poker Points) as a buy-in. Players will be able to play in these tournaments using their RDPs and they can play to win cash or a seat to play one of our daily or weekly Guaranteed tournaments.

Single Table Tournaments

Regular type of STTs offered:

NL Holdem – No Limit Holdem

PL Holdem – Pot Limit Holdem

LM Holdem – Limit Holdem

PL Omaha – Pot Limit Omaha

PL Omaha Hi/Lo – Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo

They will have 10 minute blinds, 20 seconds decision time and will have a table with 10 seats.

Sixpaks: 6 seat tables with blind levels and decision time as stated above.

Thunder: 10 seats table with 6 minute blinds and 12 second decision time.

Thunder Sixpaks: 6 seat tables, with 6 minute blinds and 12 second decision time.

Heads Up: 2 players with 10 minute levels and 20 second decision time for the regular Heads Up Sit n Go’s and 12 second decision time, 6 minute blind levels for Thunder Sit n Go’s.

NL Holdem will be also offered in the following types:

Thunderstorms/Storms: 10 seaters, Sixpaks and Heads Up will be offered. The 10 seaters will have 4 minute levels, 6 seaters will have 2, Heads Up will have 1 minute.  Decision time will be 12 seconds and starting chips will ALWAYS be 1500 for this type of tournament.

Double your €: Double your money tournaments, where the winners get their buy in X2. Sixpaks and 10 seaters are offered. They will have 10 minute levels and 20 second decision times. In a 10 seat Double Your Money tournament, players finishing 1st-5th place will each receive 20% of the prize pool. In the Sixpaks, players finishing 1st-3rd place will each receive approximately 33% of the prize pool.

Triple your €: Triple your money tournaments. In these tournaments, the winners receive their buy in X3. Sixpaks and 10 seaters are offered. They will have 10 minute blinds and 20 seconds decision time. In a 10 seat triple your money, top 3 will receive approximately 33% of the prize pool each, while in the 6 seaters the top 2 will get 50% each of the prize pool.

Satellites: Single Table Satellite tournaments with six and 10 seats are available, with the qualifiers winning a seat to play in our daily or weekly multi-table GTD tournaments. They have 10 minute blind levels and 20 seconds decision time.

All in Lottery: All in lottery tournaments are exactly what their title says. As soon as all the seats on the table are filled (Sixpaks, 10 seaters and Heads Up are offered), all players go all-in with the winner getting 100% of the pool prize (pool prize is money unless the tournament is a satellite, in which case the winner gets a seat/ticket to play in one of our GTD tournaments). In case there is a tie in the first hand, the remaining players are all in again, until there is a winner.

Two Table Sit n Go’s & Two Table Thunder:  20 players, ten in each table with the top 4 getting paid. 10 minute levels and 20 seconds decision time for the regular ones and 12 seconds decision time, 6 minute levels for Thunder.
Three table Sit n Go & Three table Thunder: 30 players, ten in each table with the top 5 places getting paid. 10 minute levels and 20 seconds decision time for the regular ones and 6 minute blind levels, 12 seconds decision time for Thunder.
